Winter Park was slammed with snowstorm this morning. It’s been falling at a rate of two inches (5.08cms) per hour since 7 am this morning. Plus there is more to come, with forecast of a foot (30 cms). With this early snow, Winter Park is getting reading for an amazing ski season 2010-2011.
The Sun Peaks Village is covered in white this morning with the first snowfall of the season at the resort.
Sun Peaks’ locals are buzzing with excitement after 12.23 centimetres of fresh snow fell at mid-mountain over the last 12 hours.
Opening day for 2010-2011 ski season for public at Sun Peaks Resort is scheduled for Saturday, 20th November 2010.
